The Ministry of Health has issued two recall notices concerning adult Marchigiana breed beef hamburgers, both produced by SOALCA S.r.l. at the Località Cerrani 13/B – 66010 Pretoro (CH) facility.

Jubatti BBQ – Adult Marchigiana breed beef hamburger

Terre d’Italia – Hamburger with Marchigiana
- Brand: TERRE D’ITALIA

- Expiry: 07–08/08/26
- Reason for recall: “Possible presence of E.coli STEC”
Both recalls carry the same instruction: «Although the product is to be consumed only after complete and thorough cooking, consumers are advised not to consume it and to return it to the point of sale for a refund».
Why the recall
The possible presence of E.coli STEC (Shiga-toxin producing Escherichia coli) represents a microbiological risk that can cause even severe gastrointestinal symptoms. The recall is therefore carried out as a precaution, as provided for by food safety procedures.

What consumers should do
Do not consume the product, even if intended for thorough cooking. Return it to the point of sale to obtain a refund. Check the batch and expiry indicated in the recalls.
Where they were distributed
The ministry documents do not specify the chains involved, but the Jubatti BBQ and Terre d’Italia brands are normally present in various large supermarket chains. The recall concerns only batch 506091.
