SIENA. The bad weather that affected part of Tuscany on the evening of yesterday, Friday, September 18, caused some interventions by the firefighters, particularly due to lightning strikes.

There were a total of three interventions carried out by the teams. In Monteriggioni, a lightning strike caused a tree to fall, while in another case a fire occurred in an electrical panel.

A further intervention was necessary on the outskirts of Siena, where a lightning strike ignited a cypress tree located near some houses. For the extinguishing operations and subsequent cleanup, the use of a tanker truck was also necessary.
No people were involved or injured.
