Recommendations from Civil Protection

Civil Protection recommends maximum caution during the thunderstorms expected in the next few hours. In particular, it is advised to avoid traveling by car during the event and never to cross flooded areas, such as underpasses, depressed areas, or areas subject to recurring flooding also due to the sewer system.

It is also recommended not to approach streams and not to cross bridges during thunderstorms.

The thunderstorms will also be associated with gusts of wind, even extremely strong, hail, and lightning: therefore, it is recommended not to stay under trees, near tensile structures, or in areas where objects could fall from buildings, and more generally to avoid outdoor activities and wait for the phenomena to pass indoors.
