Tuscany is still in the grip of bad weather. In the Grosseto area, between 5 and 8 am, rainfall amounts between 90 and 110 millimeters were recorded, while in the last hour 69 millimeters fell in Pitigliano and up to 55 millimeters in Sorano.

According to the latest bulletin from the Tuscany Civil Protection (8 am), in the next few hours the main thunderstorm system is expected to move towards Umbria and Lazio, while residual precipitation is forecast over Tuscany, with maximum local accumulations up to 15-20 millimeters. In the rest of the region, isolated precipitation may occur, locally also in the form of showers, but with overall insignificant amounts.

Between late morning and early afternoon, approximately between 12 and 1 pm, a new intensification of instability is possible in our region, with the formation of further thunderstorms.
