AREZZO. A 2-year-old child fell from the balcony of the family home in Ponticino (Arezzo) and was transported in serious condition to the Meyer pediatric hospital in Florence, where he is still hospitalized. It happened late last night, Tuesday, September 15.

According to an initial reconstruction, right after dinner the child evaded the relatives’ supervision and, having reached the balcony, fell several meters. Emergency medical personnel from 118 immediately intervened on the scene, stabilized the child, and then transferred him by helicopter in red code to the Meyer hospital. Investigations into the dynamics of the accident have been entrusted to the carabinieri of the Arezzo company.
