There are no Italians who do not spend at least one day at the sea during the summer and this season is no exception: but which are the most appreciated beaches? Holidu has created the ranking of the top 30 Italian beaches of 2026, using data from Google Maps».
The podium
The Spiaggia dei Conigli, in Lampedusa, is the most appreciated Italian beach of 2026. This is declared by a research carried out by Holidu, which processed the ratings published by users on Google Maps.
The famous bay of the Sicilian island leads the ranking thanks to an average rating of 4.9 stars out of 5, obtained based on almost 3,100 reviews. Behind it are two beaches in Sardinia: Cala Mariolu, in the territory of Baunei, second with 4.8 stars and over 6,5701 reviews, and Spiaggia di Tuerredda, in Teulada, third with 4.7 stars. The latter is also the location that collected the highest number of reviews among those present in the ranking, with over 17,00 reviews.
Tuscany
For Tuscany we find in 18th place Cala Mar Morto, on Monte Argentario, with a score of 4.7 based on 1,384 reviews. Then two Elban beaches: Fetovaia (24th place) and Cavoli (27th place). Cala Mar Morto and Fetovaia are new entries in this special ranking.
