The Ministry of Health has published a notice regarding the recall of certain batches of rice salad. The recall was ordered by the producer for some products marketed under the brands Il Ceppo, I Freschissimi, and I Prontissimi.

The basis of the measure is the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes found in one of the affected batches. For the other products indicated in the notice, the recall was carried out as a precautionary measure.
In detail, the products involved are:
- Rice salad Il Ceppo: 1 kg package, batch 261736058, with expiration date July 27, 2026; and 250 gram packages, batch 261735015, with minimum shelf life July 23 and 24, 2026.
- Rice salad with tuna I Freschissimi: 250 gram trays, batch 261735016, with expiration date July 23, 2026.
- Rice salad I Prontissimi: 250 gram trays, batch 261735015, with expiration date July 23, 2026.
The Ministry recommends that consumers who have purchased products belonging to the reported batches do not consume them and return them to the point of sale for the prescribed procedures.
As a precaution, consumers are advised to avoid consuming products belonging to the batches indicated in the recall notice. Those who have already purchased one of the affected packages can return it to the store where the purchase was made, following the procedures provided by the point of sale.
