LULA. Tragedy on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 8, in Lula, in the province of Nuoro. A fourteen-month-old baby girl died of suffocation. The cause of death could have been a regurgitation. The little girl fell asleep after eating and her mother put her in the crib, according to an initial reconstruction of the tragedy. A few hours later she was found lifeless. The rescue
On site were the 118 operators who tried in every way to resuscitate her. The judicial authority ordered the seizure of the body and the transport to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari for further investigations. The carabinieri are investigating the case and exclude causes other than fatality.
