Bad weather in Tuscany. An Atlantic disturbance is affecting our region, bringing a phase of marked bad weather. Thunderstorms of strong intensity are also recorded in the northern part of Tuscany, particularly in Versilia.
Already today, Wednesday, September 9, an unstable situation is expected, with the first thunderstorms affecting the northwestern areas of Tuscany. During the afternoon, the phenomena are expected to extend to other northern and central areas.

Meanwhile, the Regional Civil Protection Operations Room has issued an orange code for strong thunderstorms, hydrogeological risk, and hydraulic risk of the minor network. The alert will be valid throughout the regional territory from midnight until 6 pm on Thursday, September 10.
