The Ministry of Health has issued a market recall notice for several batches of fresh eggs from organic farming marketed under the “Bio Fattoria” brand, which became necessary following the detection of microbiological non-conformity: the isolation of the bacterium Salmonella typhimurium.

The product involved
The product affected by the recall is packaged in three different formats:
- Packs of 4 eggs (weight 270 gr)
- Packs of 6 eggs (weight 400 gr)
- Packs of 30 eggs (weight 1.9 kg)
The eggs, as stated in the notice on the Ministry’s website, were produced by the company Fattoria Paradello Soc. Agr. S.S. at the plant in via Paradello 9 in Rodengo Saiano, in the province of Brescia.
The batches involved
The alert concerns several production batches, associated with different expiry dates. In detail, consumers are invited to check packages bearing the following codes:
Production batches: 200526, 210526, 220526, 230526, 240526, 250526, 260526, 270526 and 280526.

Expiry dates (TMC): all dates between 17/06/2026 and 25/06/2026.
Recommendations for consumers
Health authorities and the food business operator recommend the utmost caution. The warning is to absolutely not consume the eggs. If you are still in possession of packages belonging to the batches indicated above, these must be immediately returned to the point of sale or to the supplier from whom the purchase was made.
