As reported by Ingv: magnitude 3.7 at 10:57 on the northern Tuscan coast (Massa-Carrara, Lucca, Pisa), with a depth of 9 kilometers. The location, also from the Ingv site, with geographic coordinates (lat, lon) 43.6623, 10.1947. A few days ago, the strongest shock in Pisa.

As Ingv reports again on the site, a few minutes later – at 10:59 – another shock (magnitude 2.2), also indicated on the coast of Massa-Carrara, Lucca and Pisa, with geographic coordinates (lat, lon) 43.6643, 10.2313 at a depth of 20 km.

«As provided by the current Municipal Civil Protection Plan, in relation to the ongoing event, the public is informed that from the date of this communication the operational phase on a local scale of PRE-ALARM has been activated. From 11:00 a.m. the Ce.Si (Situation Center) has been opened and is fully operational, with technical operational staff, at the headquarters of the Municipal Civil Protection in via dell’Artigianato 41/A.
