EMPOLI. Another accident on the Fi-Pi-Li highway. Traffic was blocked on Friday afternoon, July 24, by a collision involving multiple vehicles that occurred shortly before 5 PM in the Florence direction, in the stretch between the Empoli and Empoli Est junctions.

The accident
According to initial information, three vehicles were involved in the accident, but the dynamics are still being ascertained. The conditions of the people on board are not currently known. Emergency services and law enforcement are on site for investigations that will allow the exact dynamics of the accident to be reconstructed.
Traffic blocked
The highway near Empoli is paralyzed, and long queues are forming. There are also slowdowns on the opposite carriageway, in the direction of the sea, due to curious onlookers proceeding at reduced speed.
