Through Cyber Security courses for ports, terminals, shipping companies, and maritime personnel with Assiterminal

One more tool for the training of workers operating in the logistics sector connected to maritime activities. Assiterminal, the association of Italian terminal operators, has in fact obtained authorization from the General Command of the Port Authorities and the Central Security Body, NIS Authority – Transport Sector, for training courses pursuant to Circular SG 177/2025 “Maritime Cyber Risk” and thanks to the partnership with Randstad Digital the training course calendar is already online at www.radstad.it/digital.

The course model was therefore designed for all the figures provided for by Circular 177/2025 who must have mandatory training. Two distinct paths are foreseen. The first: portfacility & terminal is aimed at AdSP, terminal operators, companies and port operators and IT/OT personnel. The second, national ships & ISM company is instead aimed at Cyber Company Officer (on land), Cyber Security Officer (on board), Designated Person Ashore, Captain, Onboard/OT Officers, OT Officers and Technicians, Company IT Personnel and Technical Office Personnel. Training courses for personnel with security duties and for the familiarization of all personnel, of terminals and ships, will also be available shortly.

«The idea was born from the need of the maritime port cluster to have a training product – explains the President Tomaso Cognolato – expressly recognized by the Administration, which could provide the company functions dealing with security with adequate support in the Cyber security field to increase the compliance of terminals, ports, ships and shipping companies».
