The Inps calls on pensioners receiving income-related benefits who have not yet reported the income earned in 2022 (Red campaign 2023). As the Institute recalls in message no. 2394/2026, those who do not regularize their position by September 15, 2026, risk the revocation of the benefit.
What we are talking about
The procedure concerns residents in Italy who receive benefits such as civil disability pensions, social allowances, and ordinary disability allowances and who, by the deadline of March 31, 2025, had not yet submitted the required income declaration. Pensioners who fully declare their income with the 730 or Income forms are excluded, as Inps directly acquires data from the Revenue Agency.

Dates and what to do
To avoid revocation, it is necessary to submit an income reconstruction application indicating the relevant income for 2022, through the MyInps portal with Spid, Cie, Cns, or eIDAS, or by contacting a patronage office or another authorized intermediary. For those who have not yet done so, a deduction equal to 5% of the gross pension amount for July 2026 is planned, applied to the installments of August and September.

The reduction does not apply to benefits up to 100 euros per month. If the declaration is not submitted by September 15, 2026, Inps will proceed with the revocation of income-related benefits for 2022 and the recovery of any amounts received without entitlement. The revocation will also apply to benefits below 100 euros per month.
