Viterbo, dies at 28 years old suffocated by a slice of bacon

VITERBO. Dies after swallowing a slice of bacon. Victim Rachele Ferrara, 28 years old – mother of two small children –, who last August 13th choked on a slice of bacon just swallowed, in Capodimonte, in the Viterbo area.

The girl, immediately assisted by 118 emergency personnel, was transferred to the Santa Rosa hospital in Viterbo, but nothing could be done for her. Last night – between August 18 and 19 – brain death was declared.
