EBOLI. A charred corpse was found this morning, Sunday, July 19, in an agricultural field in the municipality of Eboli (Salerno). The body is of Luca Esposito (officially Luigi), 53 years old, sports journalist originally from Nocera Inferiore. According to what has been learned, the man was also an executive of Arpa Campania.
Murder hypothesis
From the first investigative checks the main lead points to a murder. Investigations are ongoing. The body was found in a field near State Road 7 bis and via Contrada Bivio Cioffi. Firefighters first intervened on the scene, who put out the fire and found the body.

Subsequently, before dawn, the carabinieri of the Norm of the Eboli company arrived, personnel from the Scientific Investigations Section (Sis) of the Salerno carabinieri, the forensic doctor, and the deputy prosecutor on duty at the prosecutor’s office led by prosecutor Raffaele Cantone.
