An earthquake tremor was felt in Tuscany at 10:15 on Tuesday, August 4. Thousands of reports have been recorded in various provinces. Many people distinctly felt the tremor lasting a few seconds.

As reported by the Ingv website, an earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred in the area 7 km west of Pisa at a depth of 8.2 kilometers. The fire brigade reports that «some requests have been received for checks on houses in the central Pisa area».
Below are the words of the Regional President, Eugenio Giani: «Hundreds of calls to the regional emergency number 112 following the strong tremor – writes the governor on social media – with many people taking to the streets. At the moment no reports of injuries. There have been some evacuations in the epicenter area as a precaution».
