TRAPANI. Tragedy in Mazara del Vallo, in the province of Trapani: a woman died due to the collapse of the reinforced concrete slab of a balcony. The incident occurred last night on via Raffaele Castelli. According to an initial reconstruction of the events, the victim was on the balcony at the exact moment the structure gave way.

As a precaution, given the precarious static conditions of the building, the immediate evacuation of three families residing in the building was ordered. The displaced were transferred to a reception facility.
