TRAPANI. Two young spectators, aged 18 and 20, are the victims of the accident at the Trapani-Monte Erice Hill Climb Rally in Trapani on Sunday, September 6. A race official was seriously injured by the car that went off the road at a curve, hitting several people.

The municipal administration of Erice has declared a day of mourning and the mayor Daniela Toscano went to the accident site together with the deputy mayor Paolo Genco. “Erice stands with the families of the victims of the tragedy that occurred at the Monte Erice Hill Climb and with all those who are experiencing a pain that belongs to the entire community – says the mayor –. Our thoughts and best wishes for a speedy recovery go to the injured.”
