And on the Italian fuel network, further upward movements by operators on recommended prices are arriving, with IP increasing gasoline by two cents and diesel by three cents, Q8 and Tamoil by one cent for gasoline and two cents for diesel. At the pump, the prices applied for gasoline and diesel thus show a strong increase.

In particular, based on Mimit data updated to September 3, the national average price of self-service gasoline is 2.039 euros/liter (compared to 2.027 euros/liter on September 2) and that of self-service diesel is 2.147 euros/liter (against 2.131 on September 2). On the highway network, the national average price of self-service gasoline is 2.124 euros/liter (compared to 2.110) and that of self-service diesel is 2.221 euros/liter (against 2.206).
Brent and Wti, what is happening to the oil price
This morning Brent is down below 95 value/b and Wti around 90 value/b. Coming to the price details for companies and no logo, based on Quotidiano Energia’s processing of data communicated by operators to the Mimit Price Observatory updated at 8 am yesterday, September 2, the average self-service gasoline prices applied by companies are between 2.031 and 2.041 euros/liter (no logo 2.025).
Self-service gasoline and diesel, average company prices
For diesel, the average self-service prices applied by companies range between 2.129 and 2.146 euros/liter (no logo 2.126). For full service gasoline, branded stations show average prices between 2.109 and 2.232 euros/liter (no logo 2.079).

Fuels, how much does full service diesel cost
For full service diesel, company outlets have average prices between 2.212 and 2.345 euros/liter (no logo 2.181). The average prices applied for LPG are between 0.758 and 0.784 euros/liter (no logo 0.750).
Car methane, average pump prices
Finally, average car methane prices range from 1.678 to 1.779 euros/kg (no logo 1.697).
The government plan
While waiting for more articulated interventions from the government, it is possible that from Sunday, once the scheduled period for the cut ends, the reduction of excise duties on diesel will be extended for a few days.
