SAN MINIATO. Jonathan Canini and Walter Santillo received today (Saturday, August 1), at the hall of the Town Hall of San Miniato, in the province of Pisa, the Pegasus of identities of the Tuscany Region, during a ceremony attended by the president Eugenio Giani and the mayor Simone Giglioli. The award recognized the work of the two artists connected to Tuscany in their human and cultural journey that tells the regional identity by enhancing all its most characteristic elements.

The two awardees
Actor, director, comedian and writer, Jonathan Canini is one of the representatives of that Tuscany that knows how to interpret the voice of the new generations, authentically telling their spirit and needs using the web, writing and the stage. Walter Santillo boasts a long career as a television and theater author and among others, the television program Cultura moderna, aired in 2016 for 20 episodes on Italia 1, the theatrical show Panariello-Conti-Pieraccioni Il Tour and since 2011 the MusicAward festival held at the Arena of Verona and various editions of the Sanremo Primafestival bear his signature.
