How to apply

Applications can be submitted through the online platform https://www.invitalia.it/incentivi-e-strumenti/bonus-colonnine-domestiche, provided by Invitalia, the managing body of the measure on behalf of Mimit. The opening of the portal follows the publication of the directoral decree, signed on the indication of the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, which defines procedures and rules for the so-called Domestic Charging Station Bonus. The measure, included in the multi-year program for the automotive sector defined by the Prime Minister’s decree last June, provides a fund of 68 million euros until 2030.

The amount of the contribution

In detail, the contribution covers 80 percent of the expenses incurred for the purchase and installation of charging infrastructure, up to a maximum of 1,500 euros for each individual applicant. The limit rises to 8,000 euros for interventions carried out on the common parts of condominium buildings. “Today we take another step forward in implementing the program we are carrying out to support the industrial and ecological transition of the sector,” Urso said. “With this measure,” he continued, “we support consumers and, at the same time, the Italian supply chain. In fact, 54% of the new generation charging infrastructure installed in Italy is produced in our country. Every euro invested in the charging network therefore also supports Italian manufacturing, employment, and our technological supply chains.”
