The record-breaking concert
The film shows every facet of the record-breaking concert, faithfully following the passage of time and the crescendo of emotions that accompany Ultimo’s “forever fable”: song after song, fans will be able to relive every moment of this legendary live show, which represents the consecration of an artist who has effectively changed the musical landscape of the contemporary Italian scene. Ultimo’s fans will thus be able to meet again, this time in cinemas, to sing along from the first to the last note, discovering exclusive backstage footage and private moments of what will be remembered as “The Gathering of the Last Ones”, a point of arrival and a new beginning for an artist who, at thirty, has transformed a personal story into a collective feeling.
Generation Ultimo
What was once the stubborn dream of a boy sitting at the piano in San Basilio has become a real place, which on the historic night of July 4 welcomed the 250,000 inhabitants of Ultimo’s city, cementing the indissoluble bond with Generation Ultimo.
A symbolic date
September 22 is a date of deep significance for Ultimo; it is the day that gives its title to one of his most famous songs, released in 2020 in conjunction with the birth of his label, Ultimo Records. From then on, with every anniversary, fans never fail to offer a thought, a dedication, a new way to remember this date, even with gatherings held in his symbolic place, an area of the San Basilio neighborhood that is now a fixed meeting point, renamed the “Parchetto di Ultimo” (Ultimo’s Little Park), as inscribed on a plaque signed by the IV Municipality of the Capital. And this year’s celebration will coincide with the start of screenings for the new film. Presales for tickets to the shows are open from today, Wednesday, July 22. The list of cinemas is already available on the website ultimoalcinema.it.
