HUELVA. A 47-year-old German woman was killed in Isla Cristina, near Huelva, Spain, with at least 20 stab wounds.
The police arrested the woman’s partner, who, according to local media, including Huelva Informacion, is a man in his sixties from Italy.
The two were traveling in a camper and were on vacation in the Spanish location. Sources from the Guardia Civil told LaPresse that the woman’s body with stab wounds was found in Isla Cristina around 9 this morning, Friday, August 28. “Although the causes are still under investigation, a man, her partner, has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the incident. All hypotheses remain open and the possibility that this is a case of gender-based violence is not excluded,” they emphasized.
