The public selection process begins, based on qualifications, a written test, and an oral test, for the full-time and permanent hiring of the head of the cabinet office, president’s secretariat, and institutional relations of the Central Northern Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority. For what is considered the closest collaborator to the President in any public administration, a gross monthly salary of almost 3,400 euros for fourteen months is provided. Among the required qualifications are a Master’s Degree and registration with the Order of Journalists, either as professionals or publicists.
The professional requirements include, among other things, experience in supporting top management bodies, institutional relations, and relations with public entities and administrations, as well as institutional communication and media relations. Additionally, knowledge of port sector regulations, institutional representation skills, and the ability to prepare reports, institutional presentations, summary documents, and management dossiers using advanced digital tools are required.
Knowledge of tools for managing remote meetings, webinars, and institutional events in digital or hybrid mode is also required, as well as knowledge of regulations regarding personal data protection, cybersecurity, administrative transparency, and digital document management. If more than fifty applications for the competition are received, a pre-selection test may be conducted before the exam tests, to which all candidates who have submitted a regular application within the prescribed deadlines will be admitted, subject to verification of the requirements set out in the competition notice. This test will consist of a thirty-question multiple-choice questionnaire aimed at verifying basic knowledge in the exam subjects. In this case, only candidates who provide at least twenty correct answers will be admitted to the subsequent phases of the procedure. The score obtained in the pre-selection test will not contribute to the final merit score.
